Kia Ora, welcome to Biggles Early Learning
We are a privately owned and operated Early Childhood centre situated in Otūmoetai.
Biggles Early Learning is a licenced Ministry of Education early Learning centre. We are Licenced for 28 tamariki and our opening hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
We are a unique setting in our community, offering a home away from home environment with a qualified heart led teaching team. We love Montessori principles and Te Whariki and these philosophies are weaved into our daily learning.
Biggles Kaiako are heart led and our day operates on rituals and rhythms that are evident upon entering our school.
Our Kaiako prepare our centre daily so that when you and your child arrive, we are ready to nestle in and begin our day of love, laughter and learning.
We offer one daily session here at Biggles. This creates a lovely flow to our tamariki’s day and provides safety and assurance to them as they all arrive and leave within 30 mins of each other. All tamariki enrolled at Biggles Early Learning are required to attend a minimum oftwo days per week.

Our Nido Room
The Nido Room, for ages 0-2.5 years, is a serene and inviting space, thoughtfully designed to stimulate, comfort, and nurture our youngest learners in their earliest stages of development.

Our La Casa Room
The La Casa room, catering to children aged 2.5-school age, is a dynamic and enriching environment where creativity, exploration, and learning blossom, perfectly aligning with the developmental needs and curiosity of this energetic age group.
Settling
We are flexible and work with you on deciding how best to support your child’s transition into Biggles.
We invite you to come and nestle into Biggles with your child for three- five visits before your child starts with us. This gives us time to develop a relationship with you and your child.
For tamariki that are still having day Naps we invite you to allow your child to have one sleep at Biggles before starting.
What to bring
A named bag for your child’s belongings. 2 sets of named clothing.
A full named lunch box and named drink bottle.
Named Gumboots for winter seasons, jandles for Summer season + a rash shirt is always handy!.
We ask that you sunblock your child before arriving in the mornings and we will sunblock again after lunch.
Enrolment Specifications
20 ECE Hours are included in fee structure for 3 and 4 yr olds.
We offer 10% sibling discount on your oldest child’s fees
2 weeks per year of 50% holiday fees.
Winz subsidies may be available to you.
Two weeks written email notice on changing of enrolment, use of holiday discount and termination of enrolment.
